Dongfeng Chaoyang Diesel Co.,Ltd (DCD )is located in Chaoyang city-an ancient city in the west of Liaoning province ,China, where is famous for the first bird flying and the first flower blooming on earth。 With a capacity of annual output 210000 units diesel engines, DCD is a national large-scale, professional, key enterprise which combines products development, production and sales into one for vehicle diesel engines, where China's first high speed vehicle diesel engine was produced, the engines are the first power selection for light -duty diesel vehicles.

102、3L、D、CNG & LPG four main series products, power range from 49kW to 191kW, they are the ideal powers for light-duty, mid-duty, heavy-duty trucks, buses as well as SUV, MPV pick-ups and engineering machineries as well.At present, DCD has established 17 professional production lines with a capacity of 210000 units diesel engines per year .

Introducing advanced equipment for foundry such as air-impulse molding line from German BMD Co., Ltd, Sand treatment equipment from Denmark Disa Co., Ltd., Core-making machines from Japan Naniwa Co., Ltd. Shimadzu optical spectrum analyzing instrument, as well as middle frequency induction furnace and automatic pouring machine from US Inductotherm Company. Mainly manufacturing the castings of cylinder blocks and cylinder heads with a capacity of 25000 tons annually DCD has introduced advanced high precision equipment for machining section from domestic and the countries such as Japan, America, Germany, Italy, Canada, Russia and established12 rigid, and flexible production lines, with a capacity of manufacturing crankshaft, camshaft, con-rod, cylinder-block and cylinder head for 180000 units diesel engines annually, which steadily improve the machining quality of the above engine parts and components.

At present, DCD has built 2 professional engine assembly lines. One is 102 diesel engines assembly line, with a capacity 130000 units per year, the other one is QD 32 engines assembly line with a capacity of 30000 units. In addition, DCD will build a new assembly line by joint venture with Jiangsu Automobile Company in Hefei, the capacity is 50000 units diesel engines per year.

DCD has set up a provincial grade Technical Center and a domestic first-class product lab, with more than 100 professional personnel for products research and development.

In March 2001, DCD established a first post-doctor working station among the same enterprises.

In 2007, DCD will build a R&D Center in Shenyang, which will greatly improve its R&D ability and level. So far DCD diesel engines have served for more than 100 auto manufacturers such as DFAC, JAC, Foton and Yuejin etc.,the social existing volume has exceeded 1.4 million units, which ranks first among the same industry in China. The separate engines or with vehicles have been exported to more than 40 countries and regions such as such Iran, Russia, Malaysia, Colombia and Viet Nam etc. with annual accumulative total more than 10 thousand units for export.
